Diverse programs for the development of film culture
The film school, held alongside the festival, aims to encourage the creative thinking of children in Armenia's regional and border communities and to spark their interest in the world around them.
Students overcome the automatism of perception and learn to see, re-evaluate, and re-imagine everyday reality in a new way through the expansion of art and self-expression.
In the 21st century, as the culture of reading gives way to visual culture, media literacy and visual self-expression become increasingly important.
Modern technological advancements provide broad opportunities to explore the world through the language of cinema without special technical equipment.
Students watch and discuss various films, as well as the material they have shot themselves.
This includes the actual shooting and editing process.
The created films are traditionally screened at the closing ceremony of the "Apricot Tree" International Film Festival.
